Why beauty pageants should be banned for under 18’s

Now i don’t have anything against beauty pageants, i don’t think its wrong to have them. But i do find it wrong and creepy to see young kids as young as 5 years old in beauty pageants. Not just the fact that they are being exposed but the fact that some parents would go to extreme lengths i.e botox, yes believe it or not just so that they win. Also what does this teach kids??? that’s its ok to get plastic surgery, that beauty is the only thing important in life??. Honestly i think that some of these children should be removed from their parents because clearly this parents are ripping them off their childhood. Melbourne Hosts Controversial Child Beauty Pageant

Did you know it take up to 7 or 8 hours per day just to get the child ready in terms of costume, make-up and practice their skill/routine. The child is always being pressured by the parent to do 100% or nothing. Honestly i think the parent are the ones pushing their own failed dreams towards the child. Their doing it from themselves regardless on how the child feels. They don’t show you what happens next if the child fails to win do they?? Parents would get angry, upset, frustrated towards their child because she did not fulfill their potentials.  How do you think the child would feel?? upset, unwanted and a failure. Is this fair on the child of course not.

They say its good because it will make the child less shy and more confidence when they grow up. Somehow i think the child will grow up will to much confidence and have an ego. i don’t think a very young beauty pageant has anything  good to show for. I don’t think these kids will grow up right they will grow up thinking that only beauty is the way to get things in life.

Most disturbing thing is some parents would go the extra mile to get plastic surgery on the child???? i mean what the fuck is that all about?? of course its illegal but they somehow find a way to beat the system or they would inject it themselves without supervision or experience.

Already its hard today and kids seems to be growing up much more faster then they should. But this doesn’t make it better it makes it worse.

i just think its wrong for a parent to force their dream on a child and i strongly believe that they should be removed from them due to taking away their natural childhood, this is neglecting the child’s needs to feed your own..

Being a normal child model such as promoting toys and clothing is one thing, but taking it to the next level is another. Just imagine how the child feels everyday to wake up early, practicing,  get ready, get make-up done, getting told what to day, say and behave.

Having a parent then teaches you that beauty is the right way forward and that you will make a lot of money from it if successful is giving the child bad advice to take on as they grow older. Parents treats their children as a product they are trying to sell and not as a human being.

Also this will trigger

  •  hatred and jealousy towards other
  •  low self-esteem if the lose the contests after being worked so hard to win and being told your not good enough basically
  •  Self destructive behavior such as bulimia, anorexia.
  • Compulsive exersize disorder as they grow older
  • Perfectionism
  • Mental disorder

So why would you treat your child like a product????? The reason why i say 18 is because i think that’s the time you can decide whether you want to do it for yourself or not. You have a choice, you have your own mind, you have your own expressiveness. But under 18 i think your more likely to be more influenced but others without knowing what you think is best for yourself.208726-beauty-pageant

Top 10 common beauty/health secrets that does nothing

Well we have all at one time or another looked on the internet or even read magazines about how to stay healthy, young,  beautiful and looking better. However are most of the common facts we read are true or just cock and balls to spend unnecessary money or even waste our time trying to make things better or nothing happening at all. I will list some of the most common things we hear on a daily bases which says it will help but actually does nothing or make things worse. download

1. 8 Glass of water a day myth

Yes i’m sure we are always told that drinking 8 glasses of water per day will keep your skin hydrated and look young. BULLSHIT. excuse my French here but it really doesn’t do much in fact its a myth. reasons, well its proven  the more we drink water the more our kidneys function and the more pressure you put on your kidneys the more chances you will have kidney failure.  Also doctors has no evidence on how many glasses of water you must drink per day.Its the manufactures that pushes you to buy more water and spend money on something that isn’t even true. i will add a link to read on about this myth : http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/jul/13/myth-eight-glasses-water-day

2. 5 a day

Yep the whole ”5 a day” eating fruits and vegs is another cock and balls really. There is no scientific fact that eating 5 a day will help reduce cancer, lung disease, heart disease etc. In fact you can get more vitamins from eating liver then you can from a apple. The supermarkets use this 5 a day brand as an excuse to raise the prices on fruit and vegs. I’m not saying we should all stop eating fruits and vegs but we don’t have to necessary force ourselves to eat soo much of  it when you can get the same vitamins and minerals from meat, daily, bread etc. Again i will post the full link here about it : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1349960/5-day-fruit-vegetables-myth-claims-nutrition-expert.html

3. Anti aging creams

Yeah i don’t really have to explain why this is a fail tbh. But i do know that they might keep your skin moist and what not but there isn’t really a cream to keep you younger or get ride of all wrinkles like we see on the ads, growing old is a part of life and the only think to keep it up and lifted is probably botox  and drinking 8 glasses of water doesn’t make the progress better lol

4. Cucumber on the eyes myth

Yep another myth. They say the vitamins goes to your eyes and reduce blood vessel exposing but actually its because cucumbers can last a long time being cool after it is taken out of the fridge. Its not the vitamins ( supposedly)  that helps, its the coolness, so the same method would work if you used a damp cloth on your eyes as long as its cool.

5. Cutting your eyelashes to make them long.

Yes some people say this will work the same way as cutting your hair. But it doesn’t. Please don’t do this you will end up eyelash less.

6. Washing your hair everyday

Yes by washing it will always smell nice but it will also take out all the natural oils to help them grow and your hair will be dry and damage due to no moister.

7. Eating junk food causes spots

Well yes BUT they are other main factors to which we cannot help such as stress, hormones, changing diets, bacteria and pollution. So don’t always blame the junk food for spots its only a minor contribution to it as suppose to the others listed.

8. Waxing is better

Well yes and no and also depends the person. Some people only wax once a month and have less hair and some does it once a week. There is no better or worse ways to remove hair, shaving and waxing it all depends on your genetics and that will determine how fast or slow your hair will grow. Also some people may have skin irritation after waxing and cause skin to become sore and red hence why they seek other alternatives to remove hair.

9. Pulling grey hair

They say if you pull one grey hair many more will come….. NO. Its like saying if you pull a carrot from the ground 10 more will just appear just like that haha.

10. Using facial scrub creams and products.

Ok this is kinda linking back to number 7 but unfortunately most facial scrubs we use to clean our face does not work 100% . I mean yes it will clean your skin but it will not get ride of spots or pores like it says it would. The main factors like i said on number 7 was mainly due to diet, pollution, stress, hormones etc. And somethings we can’t control, its a part of nature or environmental facor. Lets face it if you have a good diet, live in the fresh air and not stress your skin will have hardly if no stops or break outs without the facial scrub itself.

There’s my list of common things and remember don’t always believe what your hear on the TV or Magazines 🙂

Skin bleaching?? right or wrong??

Is is right to bleach your skin to became more fair. Should people be happy with what they have. Why is ok to tan but we make a big deal out of being lighter. Does this have something to do with history????

I am not for or against skin bleaching i am tanned skin myself but many people seem to take it as a offence to their culture or some even push people to to it. I’m just gonna give in my summary about it and sum up whether its a personal choice or for society.

Ok some people do it for confidence and let face it we all had our own issue with ourselves in the past and even present. whether is it skin, nose, breast, weight loss etc. So you can argue that if they feel more confident with lighten  their skin then let them be. I mean we don’t say anything to a person they they wish to become tanned so whats the difference with wanting to become lighter. In the west is it exotic to be tanned and in the east it exotic to be lighter, that’s just the way we and they see it. But unlike the west there is a history towards being light and tanned.

Back in the day all the tanned people would mean they are slaves or labors working in the rice, cotton etc fields and all the light skin people would live in a big mansion and not go out much. So already there is a thing where light people are seem are rich and well off where as the others are seem as poor.

This doesn’t mean that the reason why people want to become lighter is because of the previous history though some people still believe and even continue thinking that the paler the better in terms of what society will think of them.

Some people believe that the lighter you are the most chances you have in finding a good and well off husband, fame, jobs prospects will be a higher chance for you etc. Even parents would recommend their  own children to get lighter for those reasons. Even the media in the east will always show light skin girls getting the guy they like or featured in ads and such, so of course people would want to be lighter because they feel that you have more potential in life then being tanned. So basically its more for society then personal choice it self.

NOW let’s just say what if racism and slavery on the past never happened?? would people still feel the need to change their skin or would they be more comfortable. I in my option think that if slavery never existed they rates of skin bleaching would be much lower, only those who really want to do it for themselves like when people what a nose job or a face lift and not society, because lets think about it its because of the history and even the media today makes yous feel that we are inferior to others and even though racism isn’t directly towards people its indirect in some cases.

But would that mean white people would still get a tan?? well there is not  history with  people getting a tan its always been about personal choice  where as skin bleaching kinda is based of history, media and society. People should wear their skin color with pride and i can understand why others would take it as a offence its basically being an ass to your parents because they worked hard life and your ashamed of that despite the fact they worked hard because they had no choice. But like i said some people really actually do it for themselves and not because of society.

I to be honest i don’t find bleaching to make a person more beautiful or less. The way i see people is  that we are all equal and everyone has their own unique features which makes the world an interesting place and im all about the character of the person.  And let’s face it we  all have our own different taste to. would be boring if everyone looked the same.download

Are you sure???

English: Tanned arm

English: Tanned arm (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Well this probably happen to most people before and i find it extremely annoying i could punch someone in the face. BUT i hate telling people where i am from and get looked at is if i was alien or god knows then on top of the i get questioned like im in court or something. Here’s story.

I am mix race ( Italian and Iranian), I have tanned skin and hazel eyes etc etc. People always ask where i am from or PRESUME im Asian. Don’t get me wrong i have nothing against them its just well  that fact that you think all tanned skin people are Asian really says a lot about your education. lets get this straight and clear NOT ALL TANNED PEOPLE ARE FROM ASIA NOR ARE ALL BLACK PEOPLE FROM AFRICA.

To make things even more retarded people would often say after i tell them where i am from this stupid question

” Are you sure” ???????? You fucking kidding me now -_- that’s like saying to a black Brazilian:

” are you sure you not from Africa???? i swear all black people must be from Africa, its not possible they are others”

See how STUPID this comment is and trust me i heard this question before. Another things i hear which is also retarded is this

” i swear Italian and Iranians are all white you are tanned” -_-  * shot me now pleeeeeeeeeeeease*

Look FYI some are white and some are tanned, all the south Italians and Iranians would be more tanned because they get more SUN and yes sun = tan AND both my parents comes from the south so yhhhhhh can’t help it there can i lol Plus what about Brazilians, some are white and some are dark. Same with S.America, Asian, middle east etc

The main point is if you don’t know where a person is from DON”T JUST GUESS BY LOOKING AT THE SKIN COLOR THAT’S STEREOTYPING AND YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A RETARD, Just ask politely and when they tell you.
